| During a Reiki class, you will be
connected to the source of unlimited Reiki energy by a process
called "attunement". You will then be able to channel Reiki
to yourself and others. |

| Reiki energy will affect your own
energy fieldsyour chakras, aura & physical body. As a result,
the cells in your body may release toxins and you may let go of emotional
energy you no longer need. |
| |
| I recommend a time of preparation and cleansing
during the three days immediately before your attunement. Listen to your
inner guide/healer when deciding whether to do any or all. |

| 1. |
Eliminate meat, fowl & fish
for 3 daystry not to eat these and other foods that might contain
antibiotics, hormones & poisons. |
| |
| 2. |
Fast on water or juice for 1-3
days. This is especially helpful if you are a vegetarian or have experience
fasting. |
| |
| 3. |
Cut down on or stop caffeine use,
including chocolate. Plan not to use any during the attunement day. |
| |
| 4. |
Eliminate alcohol and other non-prescription
drugs for 3 days. |
| |
| 5. |
Cut down or stop using sweets. |
| |
| 6. |
Cut back on smoking. |
| |
| 7. |
Meditate each day for half an
hour, in whatever way seems best to you. |

| 8. |
Let go of TV, newspapers, radio.
Instead, attend to messages from your senses and from within. |
| |
| 9. |
Take meditative walks, re-engage
with nature, exercise moderately. |
| |
| 10. |
Smile a lot! Allow yourself to
let go of worry & strong feelingsperhaps imagine them flowing
out into a bubble of golden-white light above your body. Allow yourself
to experience your sacredness. |

Try to leave transition time between
your last task and the training session. |
